Tomasi gained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Tasmania, Australia, in 1996. He then obtained a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Australian Capital Territory and the High Court of Australia in 1997. He was admitted to the High Court of Fiji on 23 April 1998. Tomasi has also been recognised by Chambers & Partners for General Business Law - Fiji.
He has over almost 20 years experience principally advising and litigating in the areas of insurance, personal injury, construction, estate, property, employment, family disputes and creditors' remedies.
Tomasi is the past President of the Defence Club and is a current Board Member of the Fiji Society for the Blind.
He enjoys spending his spare time with his family and friends and also considers himself a bit of sportsman. He plays soccer with the Hasbeens soccer club, rugby with the Suva Golden Oldies rugby club and golf with the Pirates golf club.
