Rehana Nabi is a legal professional with extensive experience across law enforcement, legal research, and advisory practice. She holds Double Master’s qualifications in Law Master on Environmental Law (MEL) and Master of Laws (LL.M). Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law at the University of the South Pacific. Her academic and professional work focuses on contemporary legal issues affecting Pacific Island jurisdictions.

Rehana brings over 18 years of distinguished service in law enforcement, having served in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Traffic, Special Branch, and Community Policing. She also has international operational experience, having served for one year in Kosovo in a peacekeeping and field deployment capacity. This combined experience has equipped her with strong investigative expertise, operational judgment, and a practical understanding of enforcement, compliance, and governance frameworks.

Her legal practice includes Criminal law, contract Law, Torts Law, Property law. She is experienced in conducting complex legal research, preparing detailed legal opinions, and analysing statutory provisions and case law across both domestic and comparative jurisdictions.

Rehana has also contributed to legal education as a Teaching Assistant at the University of the South Pacific School of Law, where she supported students in legal research, writing, and analytical reasoning.

She is particularly interested in the intersection of customary and formal legal systems, as well as issues relating to governance, human rights, and environmental sustainability. Rehana is recognised for her analytical precision, professional discipline, and ability to integrate practical operational experience with high-level legal analysis.
